Mike, your full of it. Your about as bright as a blown out light bulb and a bold face lair to boot. You don't have a clue!
The stock times on that V6 camaro is around
0-60 mph in 7.3 to 7.5 seconds, Quarter mile in 15.5 to 15.7 seconds
Your mods MIGHT shave off 0.05 seconds
Now to Mike again.... You need ALOT more than a 25 HP gain to run 10's.. His stock engine is 200 HP, so you think you can run 10's with 225 HP??? The only way that can happen is in a 1,000 lbs race ready car.. His car weighs around 3500 lbs. Hell a bike and rider is close to 1,000 lbs
You must be talking 1/8 mile.. No, not with 100+ mph trap speeds. 200 HP gets you 10's in the 1/8 mile at 68 mph in a 4th gen (pretty much stock specs and times)
To run 12's @ 112-114 in a 4th gen you would need 475 HP
to run 10's @ 125-130 in a 4th gen camaro you would need 700 HP
You do NOT own a daily driven 9 second 89 GT mustang.. That's like 800 HP needed to run 9's in a fox body stang. You don't and can't drive a 800 HP car daily.
I know, I tried that with my real 600 HP 1988 camaro.. 8 miles per gallon on 93 octane with timing pulled way out, for it to run right needs 105 octane race fuel atleast. Can't run power brakes cause cam is too big and don't make enough vac, very high stall speed torque converter, full roll cage, window net, 5 point belts, etc
