I'm a 16 year old girl whose parents gave her a 89 s10 what are ways to make it an awesome truck??

I love my S10. only thing i am have trouble with is it is not automatic and it is plain black. ( it was my grandfathers) I want ways to make it look cool but still be safe to drive..

Well a lift kit is UNSAFE for you and other motorists so I would lower it. Lowering is safer, cheaper, and esier. Converting it to automatic is very hard and time consuming. You might as well trade it off for a different one with an automatic because you basicly need a whole doner truck to convert it anyways. My advice is to go to the links below and look at what you can do and decide what you want to do. there's som kick *** mods for that pickup out there and they're not hard to find

Put a small lift kit on it, some wide tires and rims - it will still be safe if you drive the speed limit

you can put on these cool tinted headlight and tail light covers, and these rain guard thingys you put around the windows on the doors, get the windows tinted. and a cool decal for middle of the back window.

Don't put too much money into it. Personally, I would upgrade the sound sysytem with some better speakers and head unit.

i would suggest tint and rims mebe a nice head unit too. depends how much u want to spend
