Okay i own a cobalt SS 2005?

Question

right i have a small problem every time i hit 6700 Rpm i get engine check with the messege "eng pwr reduced" even with im stalling i rev it and i get the same engine check my car runs fine i just dont know i have stage 3 close to 300 horses or over everything its upgraded i dont want to take it to the dealer i'll lose my warranty

Nobody told you to avoid a Cobalt SS? I blame America! Go to the Cobalt forums. I am sure somebody there would have an answer for you.

its your rev limiter. oyu pushed it hard so it shut you down until you let off the gas

probably hit the rev limiter and the computer is telling you it's shut down power until your revs drop

if you are so worried about the warranty, why did you install the "upgrades"??
