Hey, so i got an 84 Monte Carlo ss with a 350, air gap intake, edlebrook carb, all the good stuff, im wanting to make this a stroker soon, but have a concern...every time i try to do a burnout, my car stalls!!! whats up with this i cant figure it out

I believe its the carb, its stumbling on you,the check fuel pump, vacuum lines and the vacuum advance on the distributor.

Probably a dried out gasket or rubber grommet. It should be ok for now, but keep tabs on the fluid before you drive. Eventually you'll want to fix this. You should clean off the area first so you can tell where the leak is coming from. Then you'll know what to fix, and how hard or easy it is to get at.

maybe the float level is to low.Or could be a faulty accelerator pump.

Or even a fuel pump going sour.also you could check to see if you may have a vacuum leak.a good old trusty can of ether can help find a vacuum leak.if you spray a hose and the rpm goes up.Well theres your leak.
