Is there a glue to repair rear window defrost?

There is a metalic type of "paint" used to repair defrosters. If you see that a line isn't working, find the break. It may be a very small hair-line crack. Where there's a break in the line, dab on the paint and it completes the electrical connection thusly restoring power to that grid line. If you are looking for a Glue, does that mean your defroster is pulling away from the glass? If so, any type of super glue will do the trick.
